Peter Goldman

Goldman’s biography, focused heavily on Malcolm’s last years and on his assassination before a gathering of his followers in 1965, remains a standard nearly four decades after it was first published in 1973. A second edition, published by the University of Illinois Press in 1979, includes an epilogue with important new information on who committed the murder and why. A third edition appeared in January 2013, with a new preface tracking the assassination to the man who ordered it.
